Standard Rooms, Main Building
Landside rooms: When you walk into the room you will find the bathroom and an open planned living room area. From there you can ascend the stairs to a “shelf”, where you will find a large double bed. This room is ideal for families with up to 2 children sleeping downstairs.
Standard Villa Rooms
Landside rooms set in villas, to the side of the main hotel, in the gardens. These rooms are more suitable for couples.
Superior Rooms, Main Building
Ocean facing. All rooms have balconies and either 1 king or 2 queen size beds.
Superior Villa Rooms
7 villas set in our gardens, to the side of the hotel. Each villa has 3 bedrooms, a communal lounge and plunge pool. Each superior room is ocean facing with balcony.
Spa Rooms
Newly built rooms, in our Adults Only area: Across the road from the main hotel. Large rooms, with a spacious balcony or patio, overlooking the free form pool.
Deluxe Rooms, Main Building
Large sea view rooms, with sitting area and balcony, equipped with a CD player, bathrobes, a fridge full of soft drinks and a turn-down service. Deluxe room guests have also have the option of room service, available between 7:30am - 9:30 pm.
Bars and Restaurants
A weekly cocktail mixology class is held by the experienced bar tenders, for your enjoyment, as well as a weekly cookery class with the executive chef - there are limited numbers, so book early.
Seascape Restaurant
The main hotel’s Seascape restaurant is renowned for its wide variety of dishes, fine wines and evening entertainment.
Seascape also has a weekly BBQ and Caribbean buffet. The executive chef and his team offer international and local cuisine, including vegetarian options and any special dietary requirements.
Sunday is famed for its champagne brunch, held in the main hotel’s Seascape Restaurant.
Garden Restaurant
The spacious Garden Restaurant in the adults only Spa area, offers an equally varied menu, but perhaps with a slightly healthier emphasis on eating. The Garden Restaurant is open everyday for a quiet lunch, and every night (apart from Saturdays), for that romantic occasion or simply dining with friends.
Rum Shack Beach Bar
The Rum Shack Beach Bar is also there to keep you watered, whilst sunbathing or playing. Bars can also be found at the Seascape and in the Garden restaurants.
Craig’s Bar
Craig’s Bar, adjacent to the Garden Restaurant, is the spot for a quiet drink during the day.
After Hours Bar
The After Hours Bar is just the place for a late night drink - open from 10.30pm until 01.00am daily, it is located upstairs opposite the Garden restaurant in the Spa area - adults only.
Dress Code
After 7pm, on most evenings, the dress code in the restaurants and bars is elegantly casual, with no shorts or vest shirts. On buffet and barbeque evenings, shorts and informal wear are the norm.
Evening Entertainment
Each evening there is low-key entertainment from a wide selection of talented, local singers and bands each evening, as well as a manager’s weekly cocktail party.
There are many popular night spots and watering holes on the island, like Blue Monkey Beach Bar and Restaurant at Paynes Bay.
Activities
The Spa
The Spa for adults only, features a large, free form hydrotherapy pool with air-loungers, and sauna, steam room, power showers, and there are plenty of relaxing and invigorating specialist treatments to enhance your whole holiday.

Swimming Pool
At the main building, the pool is located on the terrace, overlooking the sea. Children under 12 years should be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. Over at the Spa there is a large free form pool for adults only.
Once a week a scuba dive class is held here.
Water Sports
Windsurfing, sailing and kayaks are all available free of charge. There is a water sports shop at the beach and the staff will be pleased to assist with tuition if required. Scuba diving trips and deep sea fishing trips can be arranged at extra cost.
Gym
Located in the Spa, an unsupervised gym is available for adults (minimum 16 years of age). The gym is equipped with Tunturi cycle and rowing machines and weights, bench and mats.
Chess
A life-size chess set is located next to the club room on the first floor of the hotel. the club room itself is equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football and other games. Board games can be obtained from reception.
Horse Racing
Horse racing at the Garrison Savannah takes place from January - April, June to August and October - December on a Saturday afternoon.
Golf
The hotel receptionist or tour operator representative will be pleased to arrange a tee time for you:
A new 18 hole. 6805 yard, par 72 championship public golf course called Barbados Golf Club, has been opened near Oistins on the south coast of the island. The hotel has preferential green fees at this course.
The Golf Academy, with a driving range and tuition is located close to Barbados Golf Club.
Sandy Lane is a well known established course on the west coast. They have just rebuilt the course.
Royal Westmoreland is an exclusive 18 hole course on the west coast and has a members only rule. However, if you have your handicap details, we can always make a request for you to play.
Club Rockley is a 9 hole executive course on the south coast.
