ACCOMMODATION: All of our spacious rooms with double or kingsize beds are either with view over the sea or the tropical vegetation. The rooms are equipped with flowered Chinz-curtains and fitting bed covers, rattan furniture, tiled floor, auto cooling, TV, safe, telephone (in the bathroom, too) and hairdryer.
HOTEL ACTIVITIES: Baby sitter At Piergiorgio Palace Hotel you can do little or nothing at all. This Victorianesque inn is a tranquil oasis separated from its all-inclusive neighbors. The town itself is delightful with a full complement of shops, Internet cafes, bars and restaurants from a schnitzel palace to a French bakery. Cabarete, a youthful town known in international windsurfing circles, is just ten minutes to the north. By night, its beachfront restaurants and clubs heat up to boiling!
Golfers can always be assured of a warm welcome at Piergiorgio’s. An 18-hole, Robert Trent Jones designed course is less than 30 minutes away, in the Playa Dorada Resort complex. It has some of the most reasonably priced greens fees in the country.
Similarly, the gorgeous Playa Grande Golf Course is a little more than 30 minutes to the north and it is even less expensive. Described as The Pebble Beach of the Caribbean, its 10 oceanfront holes overlook soaring cliffs and an idyllic cove. Our hotel is a nice place to come home to after a full day of Caribbean golf.
