On the road that leads to our lighthouse, these rocks can easily be seen and appreciated, shining in the sun for their high mica content. The trip up to the lighthouse will reward you with a spectacular view of the coasts and adjacent bays. Then you may walk down towards the beach using the great sand dune that gave its the name to our complex.

Dunes has 72 hectares of which 22 are developed, the rest with ongoing projects. In the developed area, Dunes has two groups of buildings. It possesses an architecture of Mediterranean style, with rooms tropically decorated in rattan and wood to offer great comfort.

ACCOMMODATION: Dunes Hotel & Beach Resort possesses 2 totally finished Stages The first one has 33 houses with a total of 204 rooms: 16 senior suites, 72 junior suites and 116 standard rooms. The second one consists of 3 buildings with 88 convertible rooms to Standard, Junior or Senior. All the rooms have cable television with13 channels.

At the moment, they are 3 buildings in construction for an additional 150 rooms of which 50% are already finished representing an investment of approximately $1.5 millions.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: Dunes Hotel & Beach Resort has three pools for the enjoyment of its guests and time-sharing owners. The main pool has an area of 1140 m2 and a maximun depth of 3.7m, perfect for sports and aquatic activities such as pool volleyball, water-aerobics, etc. The round pool, with an area of 340 m2 and a maximum depth of 1.55m., is great for relaxing.

Dunes Hotel & Beach Resort specializes in offering its guests with all the services required for your comfort and enjoyment. This is why, Dunes Hotel & Beach Resort provides you with a laundry service, central phone system, air conditioning in all of our units. For your personal security, we also have 24 hours a day specialized security service and protection against fires with Sprinkle systems. Parking for 300 automobiles, 4 warehouses, electric power generator for emergencies, and our own desalting plant with a water tank of a million liters.

And the Kid’s Club pool is perfect for the enjoyment of the smaller ones, with games and activities for children, it has an area of 119 m2 and a maximum depth of 0.65mts. Dunes Hotel also has a big extension of oceanic beach of calcareous sand.

RESTAURANT & BAR: Quality of service and great gastronomy will be the ideal complement to your vacations at Dunes Hotel & Beach Resort. The “A la Carte” Restaurant, " Luciano´s ", with a capacity of 80 people, offers our guests with the best attention in a distinguished atmosphere.

“El Caney” Beach Restaurant, in an informal atmosphere, offers great variety of food while you enjoy a sunny day at the beach or pool. "La Cachama", buffet style restaurant, with a capacity for some 200 people, allows you to enjoy great local and international dishes prepared by our Chefs.
