Jørgensens
Hotel "the Lichtenberg" mansion has 61 rooms
at its disposal, including 19 executive/superior rooms,
a Royal Suite and a junior suite with room for as many
as 118 guest. It was built in 1744 by Gerhard de Lichtenberg
as a private residence, but the mansion became an inn
as early as 1813.
All
rooms are equipped with marble bathroom, hairdryer,
trouser press, minibar, colour tv and telephone. The
rooms are decorated in a very cosy and tasteful English
style and soft pastel shades. |

Your
stay starts in the cosy hotel bar, which is open around
the clock. Here you can enjoy any drink you would like
or a cup of coffee or tea wih homebaked cake or chocolate
cruch.
In the very evocative restaurants ”Lichtenberg”,
”Palæ” and ”Herreværelset”
we serve exquisite dishes of classical Danish food as
well as dishes full of inspiration from other countries.
The restaurants are richly decorated
with stucco from 1744 and the beautiful interior shows
clearly that the mansion used to be owned by one of Denmark’s
richest men: Gerhard de Lichtenberg.
We are able to offer an exiting and varied selection of
wine and a cellar rest list. For your coffee we recommend
a cigar and offer you a wide selection of cognac, armagnac,
liqueur etc. The restaurant is open until 10pm on weekdays
or according to agreement and closed on certain Sundays.
Restaurant Eydes Kælder, which is known for its
particular charm and atmosphere is also worth a visit.
Here you will find carefully poured draught beer and popular
dishes at reasonable prices. |
