The Amsterdam American Hotel is the best located hotel in Amsterdam
in the middle of the Leidseplein, the famous square with great restaurants,
bars and theatres, and a footstep away from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh

can be explored.Built in 1900, the Amsterdam American Hotel is a listed art nouveau monument,
and some architectural features can be traced back in the famous Café Américain

ACCOMMODATION: The Amsterdam American Hotel offers 174 smoking and non-smoking Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms and Junior Suites. The hotel is an important example of architectural art nouveau and has been a listed building since 1972. Its outer graciousness extends to the guest rooms, which still feature original stained-glass windows and vanities lined with an elegant granite surface. Most hotel guest rooms were renovated in the winter of 2000 / 2001. The guest room is a key component of the hotel lodging or vacation experience, affording the traveler privacy and a comfortable night's rest. Everything is done to ensure cleanliness, attractiveness, proper maintenance and safety.
RESTAURANT & BARS: We would like to invite you to enjoy the Café Americain, an original Art Deco styled restaurant which offers you the finest dishes from the French and International cuisines.
