The castle, the city’s main attraction, is accessible by steps from Grassmarket. This is a direct if strong climb up Castle Wynd (but consider it an aerobic workout) to reach the Edinburgh Castle high above the city which gives excellent panoramic views.
ACCOMMODATION: A stylish, design influenced, contemporary, lifestyle hotel. 119 bedrooms designed with additional bathroom space to encompass a free-standing power shower and separate bath. Bedrooms split into 3 zones, for lounging, working and sleeping. Facilities include CD/DVD/, wide-screen TV's, oversize desks, fridge, fresh ground coffee, complimentary mineral water, selection of pillows.
